The name “I Am U Are” itself is intended to evoke the common denominators between cultures—and serve as a reminder that those of us in the United States are not so different from those in Ukraine.

Adaptability is something that many of the 120 makers that showcased at the inaugural event now know inside and out.

Behind the event is a larger goal of empowering the Ukrainian creative economy and defeating the stereotypes that exist regarding Ukrainian culture.

Our mission is to establish cooperation between the Ukrainian brands and the American community for theses brands to live through the outcome of war. And for the whole industry to thrive and prosper.
